How to Make Sahi Paneer

All types of vegetables like paneer, most people like but sahi paneer is very tasty vegetable, the glory of every party, make sahi paneer vegetable for your guests or on your special day as like birthday party, wedding, engagement and other. Shahi Paneer is very easy to make a vegetable.

Shahi paneer is made in both ways by frying the pieces of paneer or without fry. We will make paneer pieces and make sahi paneer. So let us start making Shahi Paneer

Ingredients for Shahi Paneer

Fresh Paneer – 400 grams (cut pieces)

Tomatoes – 4 Medium Shapes

Vegetable oil, ghee or refined -2 tsp

Cumin – half a tsp

Cream or cream- 80 gm (half cup)

Turmeric powder – one quarter tsp

Red Chilli – Less than a quarter tsp

Green chili – 2

Ginger – 1 inch long piece

Cashews – 20-25 (2 tsp filled up)

Coriander Powder – a little spoon

Garam Masala – a quarter tsp

Salt – according to the taste (2/3 tsp)

Black cardomom – 3 pieces

Black salt (1.5 tsp)

Green Coriander – 1 table spoon (finely chopped)

Method

Cut the paneer into square pieces. Put 1 table spoon oil in non stick kadai and fry the paneer until it becomes light brown.

Soak cashew nuts for half an hour in water and grind them in a fine paste.

Put ghee or oil in the pan and heat it. Now remove the cardamom seeds and keep it aside. After 1 minute, add chopped onions, cardamom seeds and green chilies in hot oil. Mix well. Wait until the color of onion becomes pink. Keep the fireworks fast. It will take 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Let the tomatoes cook till it becomes soft. It will also take 4 minutes. When the process is over, take out the mixture of tomatoes and onions in a plate with hot oil and turn off the gas. And keep the hot oil on one side, this oil will be used later on. When the mixture cools down, grind it and make a soft paste.

Put ghee or oil in the pan and heat it. Put cumin seeds in hot oil. Add turmeric powder and coriander powder when cumin seeds are brown, put tomato paste in this spice and fry it with a spoon. After roasting tomato, add cashew paste and cream and stir the spices with a spoon until they fry until the oil floats on the spices.

However, after adding boil, add the pieces of paneer and cover it and let the vegetable cook for 5-6 minutes on a low flame, so that all the spices inside the paneer become saturated. Shahi paneer vegetable is ready. Turn the gas off. Save the green coriander, add green coriander and garam masala.

Put the sahi paneer in the bowl. Decorate the green coriander from top to bottom. Serve and eat sahi paneer with rice, tandori, naan. parantha.
